“Logos” is the Greek word for “reason,” the root of our word “logic.” In ancient Greek thought, it referred to the underlying principle that orders the universe. In the New Testament, Logos is most often translated as “Word,” pointing to Jesus Christ—the One who embodies and reveals the wisdom and truth of God in human form. The Logos expresses God’s truth into every dimension of life, which is precisely what the Christian worldview seeks to illuminate.

Throughout history, the Christian worldview and value system have elevated every sphere of modern life—marriage and family, human rights, economics, science, education, and more. Yet in recent decades, these foundations have come under renewed attack by cultural and intellectual elites. As explored in the book Modern Paganism, many of today’s ideologies echo the darkness of the pre-Christian pagan world from which Christianity once delivered humanity. The book exposes these regressions and offers a path forward.

Chuck Warnock served as the senior pastor of New Covenant Church in the Longview, Texas area for thirty years, guiding it to become one of the region’s largest and most influential congregations. Over the years, he has spoken at leadership events around the world and with college students across the nation, helping them see the strength and relevance of the Christian faith.

Growing up in a secular environment, Chuck came to faith while studying biology in college—an unexpected turning point that opened his eyes to the coherence and beauty of the Christian worldview. That discovery fuels his passion today: helping people see how Christianity brings clarity, purpose, and a richer quality of life.
